working with nk. cheung, creating a series of japanese minimalist patterns laser cut into traditional nori paper. the ability for the nori to be rastered, vector cut, and the various transparencies the nori itself has,  lends itself to creating a very interesting aesthetic and quality as a medium of art.

a chair design based off of an high school product design project. +180 pieces of cnc-milled cardboard are held in compression by nuts and long bolts with the capacity to hold +450 pounds of weight.

painting has always been a passion. however with architectural studio life, there was very little chance to sit down and paint. one night, using an existing photograph and the photoshop blur tool, this painting came to life.
